We will be collecting foodbank donations from now until early in the New Year 2024. There is a labelled box in the Clubhouse so please leave non-perishable items in there.

You can see from their website that the donated items they are running short of currently are: tea, coffee, sugar, UHT milk, custard, jam, rice pudding tinned meat, veg and fish and carrier bags

Thank you for your support

Head Coach

Following Ant's decision to move on, the Club is please to announce the appountment, from 1st November, of Nick Fance as Head Coach.  Most members will know Nick who is currently part of the existing coaching team.

The whole club, we are sure, want to wish Ant and his young family all the best for the future and thank him for his huge contribution to the club over the last 16 years.

A farewell get together is planned for Saturday 4th November in the Clubhouse at midday. Tea, coffee and cake will be available.

Official Opening of Our New Courts

On 24th July the club officially opened our two new courts and celebrated the club's redevelopment which installed floodlights to five courts.

We had two British ATP players – Dan Cox and Sean Hodkin come along for the afternoon and put on exhibition games and lead training squads for our members.

We had a fabulous day and more information and photographs can be seen in out latest monthly newsletter.

Happy New Year

Its going to be a great year for the club with work well underway on the two new carpeted courts replacing the shale courts and the installation of floodlights, and the introduction of pay as you play tennis.

On 4th January we held a retirement/thank you event for Peter in the Clubhouse. Members who had worked with Peter on the grounds came along, as did many of Peter’s Club friends.

Peter was presented with his Club retirement cheque and a money  gifted by the members to mark his time ending as Groundsman. You will still see Peter around the Club as he is continuing with the cleaning work he has done for a little while.

We wish him well for his retirement and are very grateful for all his hard work on the courts and grounds over the last 22 years! and welcome Martin Robinson, as both a playing member, and as our new Groundsman

Android Booker-app problem

Update: The problem below has now been fixed

There is a known issue with the Android Booker-app that it is not showing the correct days courts are available for booking.  (We have at least two members who can only book 13, not 14 days in advance).  ClubSpark are working on that and the latest status can be found here
